Default New tute-MSQC

Looks like fun one. I have the 5" go die.....this will be a great scrappy...

Question...in the daily email from msqc there was mention of something called Couch to Quilt by Jenny..cost is $99.95.... Anyone know what this is all about? Couldn't find exactly what it was...

That seems a good price to get fabric for a quilt top and then quilted if you lived close enough that the shipping wasn't too much.

Oh, so that is a precut kit, pattern and then cost of having it quilted? Interesting...might be good for a gift for a " maybe I want to make a quilt" someone. Just a one shot deal though. I wonder how many takers there will be....

The kit includes the fabric for the 30X35 quilt top (charm pack and borders), the batting, backing and when finished you mail back and MSQC will machine quilt and bind (included in the $99.95). You also get a 12x18 cutting mat, rotary cutter, thread, 5x15 ruler, scissors and pins. Would make a perfect gift to beginning quilter; if you price out all the items including the cost of the machine quilting sounds like a good deal.

That's a decent price for the quilt for the "all inclusive" pricing. It's one way for someone to get as hooked as we are by doing this one to see if you like it. I love Missouri Star Quilting Co.

Thank you. Looks like a nice quick quilt to make for donation or a gift. Could be a great scrap buster.
