She has many different versions of this using pre made placemats. I buy zippers in bulk at Amazon for less then .25 each.

Thanks so much for posting this. It is just what I need for some thank you gifts for a women's group I'm part of. I'm headed to Walmart. And how nice and practical to give to women's shelters too.

Thank you for posting this tutorial for a placemat tote! Our guild makes totebags for the women's shelter and this is a wonderful option.
