Default Newfoundlanders ... a quilt!

Hello folks ...
While you face your wicked storm, here's something warm and quilty to check out.

Last night, the St. John's Mayor did an interview on CBC-TV.
He was home safe and sound ... and standing right in front of a "library" wall quilt.
Geeesh ... does he not know that we quilters would have appreciated a better view?

Any chance that any of you have connections to get a better shot of this quilt!

Stay Safe and Warm folks ... makes our storm today seem totally trivial.

Looks like someone did a really outstanding job on that quilt, right down to the tiny spaces under the lower edge of the leaning books.

Merci Helou! ... Silly me, I never thought of looking for the video to share with others.

TBH I didn't notice the quilt the first time through either, but with its re-play on later broadcasts,
Then I went whaaaaat? how did I miss that!!
Love the ship in the top right and maybe that's a cat to its left?

Haven't found that particular quilt, but did find a couple of interesting ones using photos instead of books. Might have to try one.

Gay ... Yes, for sure there are a lot of bookcase quilts out there. This one, I was just drawn to and wanted to honour the maker with lots looking forward to it!

I didn't see this when originally posted. Just looked at it and found myself doing the "leaning around to see" too.
