Cute - but that requires longish strips - I have snips and bits

Someone has entirely too much time on their hands. I like my scraps to serve a purpose....like a quilt maybe....

This does serve a purpose - rub a little catnip on it and it will keep your cat busy for hours....

Well, if I had a cat it would be chased for hours by two very large dogs. And if I had time to cut those narrow strips I would also have time to sew them together into something I would find truly usable, like a quilt for my dogs.

That is cute! I'm saving my selvages for a string quilt, and anything thinner than 1/2 inch is going to become one of those wrapped clothesline bags ( like a 'bali' bag..) I whipped up a coaster in about 5 mins yesterday. Good by ugly coaster!
