This is not quilting, but thought you would enjoy it. I was looking at another you tube tutorial and found this one. I have been trying to find a pattern very like a dress I have in my closet. Just bought one that gives me the type of dress I want, but not exactly. This tutorial looks very easy for someone who has sewn for awhile. Will have to try it.

Oh no!!! That's too much work. I just fold the old one, place it on the new fabric and cut. Never had any major problems, occasionally have to take it sew a seam again and take in a little but no major problems. But my way isn't something I'd recommend to someone that's new to sewing. I've been sewing ever since I can remember.
