I have taken 3 classes from Paula, at the Quilt Retreat at Asilomar in Pacific Grove, California. She is really great.
When I first got to know her she was actually sewing on her kitchen table in her apartment in the Bronx. That was about 8 years ago, she was talking about when her daughter went yo college, she might actually having a room to use for sewing. She collects and sells kalidescopes and brings samples to class that you can order from her. The retreat was great, it was 5 days long and you spent the 5 days with the same instructor.
