Much of it looks like fleece or non-cotton though. For the price, I'm not all that impressed...

I was thinking the same thing! Which is probably why she wants to sell it as a group.

Not much of a description about the fabric content, yardages, etc. Something like "Most are 100% cotton in approx 1-2 yd lengths. Some poly/cotton blends. Some fleece." I wouldn't take a chance on it.

Yeah, I was almost interested. But if someone wants to make a 3,000 sale, you would think they would put a little more time into taking pics and explaining exactly what kind of fabric she is offering.

Yes, I agree! $3000 is a lot of money for some fabric. Even though that is a lot of fabric.

She should have put more effort into advertising and "staging" the merchandise!

OMG :!: I can't imagine where any of us would put it :!: :!: I mean we all have fabric of our own. I would love to have it but I would have to rent a space to see what all is there. How would you get it home :?: :?:

she may not want to sell it piecemeal but I have no idea who has that kind of money available to buy someone else's 'first choice' of fabrics, meaning they have more value to her than to most other people. Too many fabrics that wouldn't be my 'first choice' to purchase.

You could contact her and tell her if she decides to sell in 'lots' that you might be interested. You may see her listing pop up again with better photos, explanation of fabrics available and priced in 'lots'.

warm quilt hugs, sue in CA

I've got her beat...that is a small stash and it has no color in any of it...imagine the shipping cost, $3000. probably.

On second thought If I did have $3000 to spend-I might invest in a long arm or new machine.
