    Default Oklahoma Quilter's please help

We are working to get this website updated so that quilter's who come to visit are not traveling to shops that are CLOSED...

Please take a moment to check this page out and if you find a shop listed that is closed, please email the owners of the list so they can make the changes! IF you know of a NEW shop, send them the info as well!
I know Thimbles & threads in ENid closed in 2004! And the shop in Perkins closed in 2008...both were still listed!

Thanks for helping keep quilter's on the right road to our great shops!

I'm not in OK, but what a great idea! I can't tell you how many shops I've found in my rv travels that were closed. I've learned to call ahead.

They are in the process of doing just that on the website....cleaning out the old and adding in the NEW!

Jacquie, I'm not in Oklahoma any longer, but my daughter still lives in Edmond. The store in Edmond is closed (My sisters quilt) and I believe the shop in Choctaw is closed also.

There is a shop that is not on the list that probably should be and that is The Savage Quilter at 6815 N. May Avenue, Oklahoma city, ok. She has a really nice shop.

    Jacquie in OK,
I only live in OK in the spring and fall, as we farm near Enid, but I wasn't aware that so many quilt shops had closed. Where are people getting fabric in that area now?

Jacquie, Patchwork Place in Norman, OK is still open but in a different location. There is also a quilt shop in Midwest City, Quilters Corner owned by Mary Dubois.

Thanks for working to update the list. I will be traveling in OK this summer and will need to take frequent breaks from driving. What better place to do this than a quilt store!
