I found that tutorial @ a year ago. I've used it in a couple of crib quilts & now have a queen size in the works with it. It's such a simple way of doing the geese.

This is super easy, with the added bonus of the "pockets"! And then the block arrangement options are endless! Thanks for bringing this into the limelight!

It would have been helpful to me to see what the back of the unit looks like.

Will someone post a picture, please?

I have seen this method but I enjoyed seeing it again and getting the measurements. I want to try this method for a few blocks like the ones that were posted on the blue and white quilt this week. It's the one where the pocket part is turned back to form curves like the 10 minute block. Thanks for the link Enci.

I learned these 3d techniques several years ago. The teacher was Jackie Robinson told us that these techniques have been around since the 1800s, so there is nothing new and innovative. Ricky just recently discovered them and shared what has already has been around. Whats old is new again!

I watched this tutorial earlier today and was soooooo excited!!! I LOVE flying geese but hated all of the other methods. I couldn't wait to show my BFF and she loved it too. Looks like there will be a lot of geese flying around Homestead, Florida!!!
