Is it playing on tv now or is it just a DVD that you can buy?

We don't have it listed on our PBS down here near the Gulf. I'll keep an eye on it. They took Eleanor Burns show off and now have "Stitch 2 Fit".

This past winter, PBS on west coast ran the series for 5 or 6 weeks. I loved the show as it explained the history of quilts and the various design types. I enjoyed the segment of Gee's Bend quilts.

I have the video and have watched it several times - always appreciating it more each time. It was made in 2008, but to my knowledge, it has never been broadcast in Philly. I loved the different points of view from the many artists, history professors, collectors, and museum curators. I highly recommend it.

I watched it a couple of years ago when it was on in my area but couldn't figure out the erratic broadcast schedule so I kept missing it. My DH got me the DVDs for my birthday that year (he really is a keeper). I, too, have watched it several times and always see something new.

Love Eleanor Burns, she's back on in our area. Even though all of the shows are re-re-reruns, I don't care, I could watch her for hours. Fit 2 Stitch is on as well, but I find that show very tedious at best. The same with Sew It All..... boring!!!!!
