i did that for my grandsons and filled them with crayons. used thomas the train fabric for one..and "bugs" for the other one. they loved them. when you make one..be sure to put the pencil or crayon in the first pocket..make sure it fits snugly. the first one i made, every time you turned the roll up over, crayons dropped out.. :roll:
