You're doing two? Good for you! Love this color combination.

Wow some beautiful color combinations. I am using one neutral like Grandmasieg. I sew some and then cut more and sew. It is probably quicker to cut all, then sew but doing the same thing for a long time doesn't do it for me. I worked on UFO's all this year so its nice to start something new.

I'm doing Bonnie's colors in the smaller version. I was home alone most of Friday and Saturday so the sewing was not a problem.

I just love seeing the pictures of what all are doing on our forum! Yet have you checked out the Mystery Monday Link-Up parties?

I am using one fabric for my neutral as well...solid white and one that will sub out for the orange which is a beach sand looking tan. The rest will be scrappy
Loving sewing along with so many who are doing the same quilt. I love the look of miniatures and will foundation paper piece mini blocks but not just regular cut and sew LOL
Does someone have a link to the quilter's blog who is doing the mini?

....I have started this. It am really slow...paper piecing..have only about 50 orange ones done ...
Was going to do King but am rethinking...wonder if there will l be this much sewing every week...

Only Bonnie knows how much sewing. Just plug away at it as time allows. I will say that the clues around Christmas tend to be easier. I am sewing the small size with plans to upsize if I like the pattern well enough. So I know I'll probably be revisiting this step to make up the difference.

Tellabella, I thought about using foundation piecing but then decided to do regular cutting but just made them larger then the 3.5 inch and cut them down. Maybe switching back and forth will make it seem to go faster. One of the suggestions Bonnie makes is to just do what time allows in each step and then go back and make more latter. I am just about where you are, I am enjoying the combination of the blue and orange, so pretty.
