I just finished making 2 of these with some of my scraps. I will give them to grandaughters of a couple of my friends. That you so much for the link. It was fun and they turned out very cute. I did add ribbon for some handles.
|

what a cute , simple bag!!! thanks!

I've made those before. I you turn it out like she did at the end and then fold the flaps down a bit further than hers it will stand up and it makes a great thread catcher to sit by your machine. I use mine all the time when sewing with groups or in class.

Thank you! Very clever bag.

OHHH, I love this method. How adorable to make them with embelishments as gifts and I bet most of us have the makings right in our stash already.
Thank you for this Julie. |
Cute, Cute, Cute! Thank you for sharing this adorable little bag with us! What a great idea as a summer project for mom's to make with their daughters and Grandma's to make with their granddaughters. The girls could embellish their own bags to their liking! Thanks again!

Great bag - it looks similar to a bag pattern I've seen in a magazine I've had for years and wanted to try but the instructions were so complicated. Watching this video it looks like a piece of cake - YUM :) THANKS! ;)
|
Great idea ..... I think maybe I have tried these years ago, but am going to make some again. Thanks

Thanks sooo much for sharing. I've been wanting to make a little bag for my credit cards, etc 'cause billfold is getting too bulky. Could put snap for closure. Might make small one for bills & change. Would make darling bags for my 5 grandaughters!!! Soooo quick... I have lot & lots & lots of scraps to use up...(don't we all?)...
Thanks again!!! |

Thanks for sharing such a cute little idea for a purse. I think I'm going to sit down today and give it a try. It would make a cute gift.
|
Feeling guilty here. Posted the link but haven't had time to make a bag myself. Please that some of you are doing what I want to do...start something new!
|
Great video, thank you for the link. I bet this would be adorable as a little bag to take for prom and such using some fancy fabric and embelishments.
|
That is cool! Thanks for sharing.
|
Very cute. I had Chris Porter (the instructor mentioned in the video) at Empty Spools my first time there. She's a good teacher.
