Hi everyone!!
I use a perminent micro tipped pen to transfer my designs in whatever color the embroidery will be. (Ex.- red for redwork) I have used a mechanical lead pencil in the past too. It all depends on the fabric I am working on. I mostly use the window and some painters tape to get the image transfered. I am too cheap to buy the light box I want. LOL!

A question---what do you think the best method to transfer the flower patterns to fabric would be?

I don't have a light box so what I usually do is tape the picture on a window with the fabric square on top. Then I just trace over it with a wash away pen/pencil. Don't use the diappearing ink, it disappears before your done. Ask me how I know this.
