They remind me of the earplugs that I used to wear at work.

I always feel dumb putting my 2 cents in - but I use this method, just not the product (yes pricey) instead I use chunky foam craft pieces - you can buy 500 for $5 at Oriental Trading - http://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/br...=23-94120873-2

I hope this url works :)

It's a great idea, but it took me a few minutes to 'get it' and that was only after I read Keens post, which was after I watched the video. The pinmoor looks just like my earplugs and if I wanted to use those I could get bags of them at any sporting goods store (used for ear protection when shooting guns) or smaller quantities in the drug store. But I actually like the chunky foam craft pieces idea the best. I'm going to check Hobby Lobby for them and compare prices for bulk earplugs. Thanks to Bella for posting!!

Could you use packing peanuts?

I like the fact the molded silicone will stay in place until taken off and the pins will not stick through and it's a one time buy product. I guess any thing you can stick a pin in will work until it doesn't.

Good idea!

Just different colors than my ear plugs that I can use for
sleeping.
