I've had one for two years and have used the embroidery feature only twice but I love the machine. It makes me feel disloyal to my 10-year-old Janome (for which paid 4 times as much) but it has so many neat bells and whistles. A leg injury and a baby shower deadline inspired me to use the foot-free feature, which took some getting used to but is great for piecing.

I bought one for my grand-daughter in-law for Christmas...Good deal...

My sewing machine and my embroidery machine are both Brothers and I love them. I've never had a problem.
