I see in some quilt magazines it will say all their classes are on sale for a very low price. But when I go to their site on my computer their lower prices do NOT show up. Are they just looking for first time buyers and since I am not a new student cookies it tell them I have shopped with them before and therefore I am not offered that low advertised price? I have received emails tho telling that some classes have been marked down. But a lot of the time it's not the classes I am interested in.

This is interesting...the monthly billing. Over the past two years I have purchased 6 classes and have signed up for 5 free mini classes plus the BOM. Have been lucky to receive special prices on several classes, and never a recurring charge. Hope this is straightened out for you.

Just as Judy I have purchased several classes and family gave me gifts for Christmas of 2 classes, never had any trouble with purchase or receiving the gift classes. I have been well pleased with them. You have to watch the prices, however, Leha Days web site had her's on special, but only if you went thru her website.

They have different prices if you are going to Craftsy via an email or outside link promotion. I had an email for a sale and went there through the email and the sale prices were there... I went back there directly without clicking through the email and the prices were different. That might be the difference. I don't really think it's the app's fault. I think it just depends on if you are going to Craftsy for a sale through a direct link to the sale if that makes any sense.

I feel the same way. I think it's great for people who get what they want and are willing to pay for, from Craftsy, but for me there is plenty of free stuff to choose from...even on Craftsy!

I too agree!

I have signed up for several Craftsy classes and have not had any problems with them. They're classes have been very good. If you are thinking about it, try one of their free BOM. they have 2 of them and see if you like it. You do not have to give a CC to do that.

I signed up for only the FREE classes and never gave them my credit card information. So hopefully I will not have to worry.

I have taken several of their classes and they are very good. I usually catch a good sale or free classes. I have never had a billing problem and I am we'll satisfied with the classes. I just don't like to use their app to look for classes when I can get them cheaper by searching for the site. Just my humble opinion.

Whenever possible, I stay away from ANYTHING that has reoccurring charges. Just have heard toooooo many horror stories.

I pay for my classes thru Paypal, haven't had an issue, but will watch. Thanks for the info for all the class pricing variances, interesting.
