Crosshatching

I am in the process of fmq a quilt made up of blocks that each have a 'frame.'

I decided to crosshatch in the middle of each frame, and found this diagram showing how to crosshatch with no stopping, doing it all continuously:

(just thought someone here might find it helpful too)

Thanks for posting, it makes sense once I read it but I had never thought of it being so simple.

I do something similar for all my quilting, not just crosshatching. I even use a Frixion pen to place arrows on a pattern where I think it will help me keep on a path for the longest continuous stitching line.

I like small crosshatch much more then lots of swirls and feathers.
