Hi Donnarae and All:
Well, I tried the paper folding star and got a skinny-mini star WITH pointy points but it was very, very, very skinny....I think I didn't get the "angle" right when I made my cut. I will try again. This was a fun activity to try. Thanks for sharing it. |

I wonder if you could use a fusible on the back of the fabric you are using then when you cut the star you could fuse it to a larger square then applique around it like we do with Dresden Plate blades. I think I'll practice somemore to get more "weight" on my stars and give this a try. I love applique and it looks like the star has some promise if I can get it a bit heftier. :lol:
