I use Linux also and have been keeping a windows computer for Electric Quilt use. This is an awesome tutorial.

Thanks for the instructions on using Gimp.
Just one question. I am completely new to Gimp, so could you tell me if there is a way to get the images to show in colour when you have dropped them in with the paint bucket. Mine are only coming up black and white for some reason.

Thanks in advance.

How nice of you!

I should download GIMP - I've been with Paint Shop Pro for twenty years but when I bought the latest version, I was lost. I can barely manage the easiest of tasks. I used to love drawing in PSP, but not any more. And Microsoft's Photo and Paint 3D are just awful.

Is GIMP any easier or more intuitive than PSP or PhotoShop?
