Do you use half filled bobbins for the top thread?
I use up my half filled bobbins when piecing using them as the top thread especially when I need a color thread for a small project. Sometimes the bobbin gets a little wonky as it spins but I found a neat gadget that stops that. It's not necessary but it works great.

This is soooo good! Thanks for tip!

If you get the Quilty Box one was included in one of the boxes last year. Many had no idea what they were for. I think you can get one that holds the bigger bobbins from a LA too.

I often use up the half filled bobbins this way. I've never really had a problem with them getting wonky.

I use them in the bobbin when piecing, why do you use them for top thread?

my wonky bobbin can't be used in the bobbin area so i want to use the thread on it other than a bit of hand sewing i may do once in awhile. i can't find it online other than with prefilled bobbins that come with it. i have never used pre filled ones on my machine. anywhere i can just get the bobbinator??
