Most of you have probably seen this, but it was a revelation to me. I bought binding tools 'til I was blue and tried everything to get those final ends together, this changed my life and SO easy, works every time.

I use this method to bind my quilt. Jenny's tutorials are always very instructive and clear.

I've been doing this for years....learned it from reading a quilting bible put out by Better Homes and Gardens. I think the title is "The Better Homes and Gardens Complete Guide to Quilting"......Pictures and excellent instructions......I could never get the "tuck" kind to lay flat......

That was my problem wendiq, my tuck was off kilter or somethng else was wrong and I didn't like the lump.
|
I like that when I use the sewn method, I can finger press the seam open and avoid that bulk.
|
Thanks! I bookmarked it.

Love the little hint about the width of your binding. That makes this process soooooo much easier! Going to binding a baby quilt tomorrow and will give this a try!! Thanks for the link to this tutorial.

This is the exact method that I've been using for years. I learned it from watching Kaye Wood on PBS. The binding always comes out just right every time.
