Someone mentioned bias edges with this technique. I wonder if the fabric was starched well would that make a difference?

I did not have any problems with bias. It really is a VERY Fast and Easy block to do. I plan on usung this technique on a few donation quilts.

Thanks so much for the tutorial and I love your blog.

Thanks. I had seen this method some time ago, but not put it to use and lately, thinking three projects ahead, was trying to remember just how you cut it after sewing. Hope now it is firmly in my head so I don't forget before I get to it.

thanks!

It really is as easy as it looks, I just did a block for my guild's retreat block swap.

I have several projects for the pinwheel. Thanks for suggesting this site. Will try it this way, it really makes it seam so simple now, even though it is a simple one anyway.

Thank you, Helen - I'd seen this method before but was hesitant to try it because of bias - but perhaps will give it a try. Looks so easy and the results are so nice. Great way to use some of these charms I have.
