a few months back I contacted Fons & Porter about an error in the quilt they had pictured. I got a message back that there wasn't a mistake, but it most certainly had one so I replied trying to point it out to them. Never did hear back from them. The points were suppose to look like a star and in one of the blocks in the quilt had the points going the wrong way. So easy to spot, but they didn't believe me. LOL

I understand that errors happen. But, it's such a great company, it would be nice if the "errors" were sent to our emails like the "you've been charged" was sent to our emails. Afterall, a subscriber list is a subscriber list. Nothing changes.

I think that when you pay good money for a magazine, it IS up to the publisher to notify the customers of the mistakes. It would be different if it was a free magazine, but it is far from it.

I too, agree with AnnEliz & SunlitenSmiles, & many others. I love Jenny and the Block Magazine. Yes, there are some errors in the magazine, but, thankfully they are willing to post the corrections. I for one am not perfect, so I know that others are not perfect. I just take it in stride and made the corrections in the magazine.
I read my books on my Nook and I am always finding typos and errors in them. There was only 1 perfect person and it isn't me & I doubt it is any of you. LOL!!! In the end it just depends on how big a deal it it to you. Not a big deal to me. |
