Georgia Bonesteel was one of my first quilting teachers via PBS.

She really is one of the greats in quilting. Her "Lap Quilting" book is one of my go-to books. She had a show that I loved, there was a series about Amish Quilts. And the last time I saw her on TV she was on "Simply Quilts" with Alex Anderson. She made a comment about enjoying quilting is more important than the number of stitches per inch and it was nice to hear someone like her to say it out loud.

I will have to check that out....
