Now has many videos on You tube. I am watching Episode 1106 from the Bernina Factory and they show how to make sewing machines.

I love Georgia Bonesteel. She got my mom hooked on quilting in the late 70s/early 80s with her show on PBS. Seeing her or Julia Child always makes me remember my mother.

I will have to look that up. I have loved her for a longgg time.

I'll have to check those videos out, as I miss her series on TV. I made my very first full size quilt from her Spinning Spools series, where the patterns and templates came every month or so and were put into a binder. I am basically a self-taught quilter, with the help of Georgia Bonesteel - I even have a video that she made with some of her quilts. I did watch the episode where she toured the Bernina Factory, which was very, very interesting.

She is coming to our guild meeting in the fall. I'm so excited:)

Her quilt show had so much information in each episode. I watched her show and Quilting from the Heartland every Sat. morning. I learned the basics of good quilting from these two shows.

How blessed you are to have her come to your guild meeting. She is a gracious and encouraging person.

Oh now that is one lady I would love to meet in person and tell her that she is the one who "hooked" me on quilting .. She is just wonderful !
