For those of you who cut off your selvage----Do you cut it wider so that you will have it the width to work with when you use it for your projects? Just wondering. I love the covering for the chair. Gives me an idea to dress up my drab looking chair. Have thought of recovering, but not in that way. I REALLY like it---so unique. Marge L.

That is a great idea, but wow at all of the little pieces.

I really love it. That took a lot of time. I don't know if I would sit on it. It is just great.

I collect selvages -- I do cut them 1 1/2" wide and have made bags, potholders and have patterns for quilts that I haven't yet done.

The purses are looking good!

That is some chair. I like it. I've only made potholders with my selvages!

Ooops, I posted too soon & didn't hit page two. The bags are awesome!

If that has elastic on the back side, you could take both pieces off and wash them. Wish I had that pattern.

That is funny. I saw it yesterday too. There were several other interesting projects there two.

She openEd the chair and tucked it in and used some hot glue if I remember too. She had no pattern just made it to fit her chair. If I can find the place I saw it again I will post it.
