My method too. Then I stack them neatly according to the size of the bed. Have twin, full and queen beds in our house, but DH and I sleep only in the queen. Others are in guest room. Worked in a laundromat during college, taught many people to fold fitted sheets by this method.

Several months ago someone on the Board wrote that they folded the fitted sheet as well as they could, placed it with the folded flat sheet and one pillowcase and stuffed the whole thing in the other pillowcase. Have been doing this ever since reading that.

hmmmm.......never heard of that. My sheet bundles go into fabric bags that I make up from shabby chic fabric (culled from repurposed sheets and curtains from op shops). Simple envelope style. Makes for a neat, pretty closet.
