I swore I'd never Paper Piece again, but this is incredible!

I've tried many times to PP, with terrible results. Just can't wrap my head around it. I stumbled on a Craftsy class called Quick Strip Paper Piecing by Peggy Martin and, with great skepticism, watched the intro and read the comments.
This method actually made sense to me, so I threw caution to the wind and signed up (on sale)...added to the fact that there is a section on New York Beauty and I've always wanted to try one. Well....this woman is a genius! And a great teacher. So, if you're looking for an easy way to paper piece, give this a try. Here's my first project.... Watson |
Super beautiful !!!! I hate paper piecing with a capital H :) I have every book Carol Doak authored, took a class with her, and know her personally so I was especially disappointed when I realized I don't like to PP. But maybe I'll revisit it!
You did a great job!!! |
Very Very nice! I love the fabrics you chose.

Wow! That's fantastic!

Really nice. I took a Judy Niemeyer class and it seemed hard to me. Took a Carol Doak class and really liked it.

Beautiful selection of fabrics for that medallion!

Great job, there is always more then one way to skin that cat, glad you found one you like

thanks for the heads up and your block is super
|
Great fabric choice. Those points are perfect!

Watson...lovely block.
You have piqued my curiosity. I always wanted to learn PP but the few tries I made were disappointing. I am interested in the class. Is there closed captioning available with it? The preview does not have it. |
