I am making a Hunter's Star with this method. It's been on the back burner though, as my original machine bit the dust, and I started working with a different machine and the seams are different for both machines :(

I tried it...too bulky with all those seams- for me anyway...I prefer the pattern of 2 large sqs., and companion 2 1/2" hst...or better yet, my GO die!

Some parts are speedy but too much cutting for me...
Didn't like the big square having to have 4 parts...
