It's actually a strip pieced quilt that works because of color value. I ended up unhappy with two of the purples because the values weren't quite right so I've got to look around for a couple more. The fabric on Jenny's site is nice and work, but it is rather expensive. Just another reason to go shopping for fabric. LOL :wink:

What a treasure trove of patterns. I like Jenny Beyer, and have just learned to hand piece this spring. Did a demonstration on (1860 period)
quilting and found out I loved to do it. I even made 2 period dresses for the weekend. There is a lot of fabric in those dresses. tlcquiltnut
