For that price, why not try it? I wonder how hard it is to get and keep it aligned. Is there some kind of glue like Command hooks use that won't goo up the sewing machine.

Once you have it pretty much lined up, the end of the laser turns so you can get it lined up exact. Unless you really bump it, it stays in place. I haven't tried to take the adhesive disk that came with it off the machine yet. I would imagine alcohol would take the sticky off.

You can buy adhesive squares that come off like the Commander hooks. Don't know if they're strong enough to hold the laser. Looks like a very good idea ��

Oh my, that is fabulous. I had been considering getting a new machine with one even though I don't really "need" a new machine - I love the one I have.
