I doubt it would be a health concern because many new machines come with a laser light.

I do lots of straight line quilting & I would love one of these. Would save so much time with not having to draw the

Stopped at Home Depot today & showed a pic of this. They didn't have anything like it. Too bad Harbor Freight is over an hour away.
