Machine Tying A Quilt

I found this to be informative, maybe someone else will too!

Machine tying and then tacking. I've never tried the tacking, I'm going to try that out soon.

Looks like a great idea. May have to try this one next time I tie a quilt. Thanks for the link.

I often use my machine to tack the quilt together. It goes very fast.

I am getting ready to finish a baby quilt now. My question would be: Will the baby put the yarn/ribbon/thread in their mouths? I'm sure they would! Would that hurt the baby? I would think yarn would be worse for the baby.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for the video site. What an easy way to do that. I love new (to me) ideas.

Thanks for sharing, that was very interesting. I have tacked but used part of the buttonhole process to go back and forth. But really like the idea of the leaf. Will have to check out my machine to see if I can do this.

I just went to this site, watched the video in the full screen mode, but couldn't get out of it without shutting down my PC. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I locked up, too - but did the old Ctl+Alt+Del and it released it. Thank you for this link - I was thinking the other day if it would work to put a motif in sashing corners like that from the machine stitches, something decorative. This was a perfect illustration - thank you.
