I've never done a mystery quilt and was somewhat overwhelmed by all the needed fabrics. But I saw all the postings and decided to bite the bullet and do it. :XD: :XD:

And, you may find yourself so entranced with "scrappy" that you will continue to do it! LOL <wave> |
O.K., it's the 19th! Now how do we get our clue?

I'm in!
Thank you for the reminder of where to find the site and that today was first clue day. <wave> |
I'm new to mystery quilting so help me out. I saw the post and printed it off but I can't tell if the strips she is using are 2 inch strips sewed together or does it matter what size they are. I know you cut them 2 inches wide after sewing them together but I think I'm a little confused.

Here is the text from her instructions:
Dig into your 2" scrap bins if you have them and pull out the greens and pinks! Don't have any? Cut them from yardage and fat quarters! |

Thank you both. I think where I got confused was the last pic she had of her cut strips. The beginning strips didn't look like they were 2 inches to start with. Anyway on to sewing.
