Got info today from Read for a cure and they have a Quilt magazine called Primitive Quilts and projects listed. I have Never heard or seen it before so did a search. Hey for $10 I ordered it along with American patchwork quilting. here's the primitive quilting website address they have alot of really nice FREE patterns I for one have never seen.

I love that magazine. I've been getting it for about 3 years now. Though I make the projects out of fabric instead of wool. Nice eye candy!

I've seen the magazine on the rack at the grocery store, but not lately. Compared to other quilt magazines, it is a bit expensive.

Thanks for posting this. Someone mentioned this magazine the other day and I checked their website. Was thinking about it and now I'm glad I waited. That's a great price and helps a great cause too!

It is a nice book. Lots of fun projects if you love primitives for sure. I subscribe and also see them at quilt shows where they have a terrific display. For me the book is worth the price as the patterns are clear and easy to follow.

For $10.00 I would subscribe too to give it a try but where do I find that link to do that along with American Patchwork mag?

The booth at the show was Primitive Gatherings, not the same person as magazine.

It is actually NOT a "new" magazine ... it's been out for at least 5 years or so. I've subscribed for several years and really enjoy it. I gave my SIL a subscription and it has become her favorite mag also. I think they do still have a booth at the Houston IQF each year, so keep an eye out for them !
It is a little more $ than some other quilt mags, but IMHO so well worth it. Lots of warm and cozy quilt patterns by well known designers, great wool projects, stitchery and decor that you won't find in any of the other cookie-cutter magazines ...
