Now there is dedication! What model is your treadle, Stitchit123?

I have my great grandmother's oil lamp, and it throws light bright enough to read or sew without electricity. My more modern propane Coleman camp lantern does the same. Plus that, I've seen LED lights that work on solar power, so we COULD keep sewing with the power out for an extended time. Of course, if there is less heat, we need more quilts, right? See who is laughing then.

I use a treadle quite often, have 5 of them. I have electric machines too.

I'm convinced that i need to find a treadle for my singer. Yesterday i was on this thread when my power went out. Where i live, there really shouldn't be power outages unless snow is super heavy. We have more power outages in the summer when there are accidents with the transformers. \
