I was thinking of adding some trees, walkway, etc. to the block. I have done applique but am not sure how to add these to paper piecing projects. I could fuse the shrubs on the block but do not think a walkway fused on top would look good. I am still in the thinking stage of this block.

Are you trying to add these items to an already pieced block or are you paper piecing or appliqueing the whole block? If it is not answered here - post a topic question - maybe with a picture and someone will be able to help you. We have so many people with years of experience that will glady lend you some inspiration.

Thank you for your question because I never gave it a thought to applique the whole block. If I do that, then I can add the trees, walkway, cross on the church,etc. I can always paper piece another house. Thanks again.
