I just went and tried this. It is fast and easy. Next trip to quilt shop I will be looking for fabric to make another quilt.

Oh my ---Thanks so much for sharing, I need something to demo for a quilt meeting next month and you just solved my problem. The members will just love this one.

May I add a hint??? I tried this,and if you fold your piece with the x on it and make a small cut before you sew it ,it is easier to cut the x part later than trying to get the scissors into it...does that make sense???
