Oh my ---Thanks so much for sharing, I need something to demo for a quilt meeting next month and you just solved my problem. The members will just love this one.

May I add a hint??? I tried this, and if you fold your piece with the x on it and make a small cut before you sew it ,it is easier to cut the x part later than trying to get the scissors into it...does that make sense???
|
gotta try it!

Great link :-D

WOW! I was at a quilt show this weekend and a shop owner demonstrated this technique. There's a new book out that uses this technique - now I don't have to buy the book.
|
Last night I made some mug rugs using this technique. I fussy cut some snowmen for the center block and went from there. They turned out real cute.
Riversong thanks for the tip. I used my seam ripper with much caution to start my cutting. I like youe idea. |
So cool, thanks for sharing.
