That's my biggest issue with the older Bernina I use now...there's no way to change the pressure on the feet....I just bought a used Husqvarna Viking Sapphire 830....and once again I can change settings on it. By the way...that 40+ year old Kenmore still works like a new one!

You know since I posted this I can't find the pressure setting on my Bernina....I have a 350PE....I don't think it has one....I was so looking forward to messing with this too....I'll have to give the LQS where I bought it a call...I've only had this machine for 3 mths....I may just have to live with my puckering after all.

I have reduced the pressure on my foot when quilting and it really does make a difference. Good results for sure.

Valuable information and simple enough directions that even a beginner like me could understand it!

Thanks.

This sure was timely information for me. I just finished quilting a donation quilt and had a terrible time with puckers for the first time. I realized after seeing this video that I had changed the pressure setting when working with jeans fabric and never changed it back! Thank you SO much for posting!

Is this information still relevant if you are using a walking foot?
