What a great site this is, I've learned yet another important thing about my sewing machine - off to give it a try now.

That's my biggest issue with the older Bernina I use now...there's no way to change the pressure on the feet....I just bought a used Husqvarna Viking Sapphire 830....and once again I can change settings on it. By the way...that 40+ year old Kenmore still works like a new one!

You know since I posted this I can't find the pressure setting on my Bernina....I have a 350PE....I don't think it has one....I was so looking forward to messing with this too....I'll have to give the LQS where I bought it a call...I've only had this machine for 3 mths....I may just have to live with my puckering after all.

I've talked to other Bernina owners and I think it's something Bernina's don't have...at least some of them. One lady said that was the ONLY fault she had against them. I love my little old one but it's not great for fmq.

Thank you. I was thinking it was how I was pushing the fabric or putting a drag on it as I sewed, that made those puckers.

I love her video and went on to watch another with a red and white quilt. She has a great technique for us beginners. Thanks for this link. Learned something new!!!
