It pays to read the fine print! Makes me wonder how many people have gotten suckered that way - they think they found a great deal and buy it quickly, only to realize too late that the shipping is gonna bite them.

I think they just dont want to bother packing it for international shipping. For delivery within the UK the cost is £16 or free if you collect it , which seems reasonable.

You have to ship it in small packets too.lol

That seller has a bad feedback record (98% is not good), so maybe it wasn't an error, but a trap for an unobservant buyer.

I emailed Seller and asked if this was a mistake. Surprise - no reply!!

Drue 03-31-2012 03:30 AM

Amazing! I didn't see any correction either. Did you notice that there are "0" bids as well...imagine that!

Dretha 03-31-2012 07:26 AM

I did not see any correction either.

Got a reply from Seller!

"Hi,

You're right, it was a mistake but it was deliberate. Ebay wouldn't allow me to advertise globally without a shipping cost listed. It wouldn't be possible to put a price that would apply to every country in the world as it varies greatly, so as it says in the listing "please email me for a quote on shipping". The cheapest option is £100 and would take up to 30 days. Next is £120 tracked and taking 5-9 days.

Thanks
