Thanks Woody, nice to see a fellow Aussie. I have only just figured out how to add info to my profile, so am finding my way around slowly. I am really enjoying Quilting Board.

Welcome from Florida, USA, Anna. Hope you enjoy the QB as much as I do.

Is this an Aussie-only chat or can I join in? I would love to visit Australia some day! I've been in love with Koala bears for as long as I can remember. Thanks for the link ... it's certainly something I can use.

Thanks for your kind welcome ladies. Where I live we are in drought as usual, no rain, the trees and shrubs are dropping their and leaves. I've only just decided to quilt again after many years break. I love this site, thank goodness for the Internet. Thanks Nancy for moving this tip to here.

This is exactly how I do it. Learned it years ago and the points and seams are perfect every time.

Thanks for the post - it should be very useful to the lady who posted her inability with points last night.
I moved from the hot, dry area (54C) to what I thought was the cool, moist area and we have just come out of Level 5 water restrictions after 7 years, (we do have bore water). Hope you are faring better than that? |
