Is the WM savings app the only app I need, or are there other savings apps?

I heartily agree! I joined just a few months ago and already have over $50. Sure beats running all over town to get the specials and shopping in strange stores.

Never heard of it, but now I have! I'll be adding this app...already use one from Jewel Osco (Albertsons)

I have money in there, but how do you load it on an e card to use it? I need for it to go to one place.

Yes, go to the Walmart site and set up an account. You can then type in your receipt number.

On the computer, you hit the orange "Redeem To eGift Card" button, which is beside your "now available" balance. They'll send an e-mail a few hours later that you can print out and take with you to Walmart. At least that's how I do it. :)
The store may be able to scan the e-gift card on your phone, too, by pulling up the e-mail with the barcode in it ... I'm not sure since I use the computer rather than my phone to access my account.
If you're using it to shop on Walmart's website, I think you enter the eGift card number at checkout like you would enter an actual "in-hand" gift card number.
