Default This quilt could help solve a 25 yr. old murder case...

Wow, If you go to the FOX news website today they have a story where a woman was murdered and there was a quilt around her. The police are hoping to find out who make it and it might help solve the 25 yr. old murder mystery. They have a picture of the quilt too. I tried to copy/paste the link here but it would not work.

I imagine they ruled out that the quilt belonged to her? I think it is a very long shot for anyone to recognize the simple quilt from 25 years ago.

Why didn't they do this 25 years ago?

According to the article they did, but now with all the social media they have a much larger audience, so they are hoping someone might recognize the quilt.

I posted in Chit Chat about this same story. A couple of the fabrics in the quilt look a little like Hawaiian fabrics. Anybody else think so? I have a quilt made in Hawaii, and the fabrics look vaguely like a couple of the fabrics in this quilt.

I think they waited too long to air the story again. They should have sired it several times a year. Not everyone stays glued to the news.

I hope they solve the case. How terrible for the family not to have closure

I have seen and followed this story but wonder why there is no picture of the quilt. Identity with words only is difficult. Yes, I too wonder why the quilt wasn't featured at the time of the murder.

I read that the police did not want to release all information back then but keep some things quiet that only the murderer would know about such as their being a quilt with the body.
