Default Quilt in a day

Just watched EB quilt in a day, May accuquilt demo tute on YouTube. She looks great! I have the die, but have not tried it, but after watching the tute, just have to decide what colors I want to use. She is definitely the queen of pressing and nesting those seams! Those blocks laid perfectly flat, no bulk!

every time i see someone pressing well, i think of Jenny of MissouriStar Quilts. she just slams the iron down and presses from the top. Oh well, I know to do better so she can sew hers together that way.

She is such a doll! I love EB.... I'm happy to see her looking so good, too. I saw her in 2016 at the Paducah show and she was much thinner and frail looking. Glad to see her back to her old self. She's a treasure.

Jenny is also keeping her videos down to short time period. She has addressed the question of pressing in a video a few years ago. She stated that her videos are tuned to get the ideas of how the project is put together and that tried and true sewing/quilting techniques and "rules" should be followed.

Oh I like Jenny, and laugh at her pressing but not at her.

Any one that knows how to quilt knows Jenny is showing how to make the pattern, not elaborating on the rules. That is what makes her videos so easy to watch. I get bored watching someone show me how to press to the dark side for the upteenth time.
