    Default Quilting tool caddy

I wanted to share this tutorial I found of a tool caddy. It slips over a plastic stand up frame. She found hers at the dollar store, I have gotten them at Office Depot. I really like how it is upright, and takes up less room by my sewing machine. http://dquilts.blogspot.com/2011/06/...-tutorial.html

but then what would I do with the billions of coffee mugs that currently hold my tools?
Put them all out of a job? Kick them to the curb? Leave them with all the lonelys at the thrift store?

Kalama, if you are anything like me you won't be putting any cups out of jobs...my supplies runnith over!!

I keep telling myself I'm going to get organized but in the meantime I keep coming up with more and more ways to to do it!

That’s a cute pattern. Thanks for sharing it. Remember when TV remotes first came out and many folks just had to have a caddy for them? Yep, I’ve recycled one into a tool holder. Works great. Another tool holder is a flower “frog” that sits in a small bowl. I admire anyone who can make these type of things, but I’m better at recycling. :-)

Some coincidence, I was at a quilt store yesterday and they had one sitting on the counter but no pattern so I took a picture and low and behold today I find the tutorial posted here. Thank you so much.

A lady in my sewing group has one that someone gave her. Now we can all make one, they are so handy on sewing days, retreats, etc. Her tools are always organized and not all over the table.
