Filmmaker Ken Burns has collected quilts since the 1970's, but Burns has never publicly shared his collection until recently when he allowed the International Quilt Study Center & Museum to exhibit a selection of them. See this and other amazing things happening in our great state on the next Nebraska Stories, Monday, April 23 at 8pm CT on NET.

Wow, what a wise man to collect "women's" art from our past. I will have to be a snoop and see what I can find on line about this event. Now, I have one more reason to enjoy his work! He is a man who likes .... quilts and quilts are full of his passion, history.

I just found it on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k53Ez_VhaKo

He appreciates all history and we know quilts have history so this is fitting.
