Quilts from shirts.

Quilts from shirts.
I don't know if this is the right place!?!? I found a place called Goodwill Outlet, where you pay by the #..I found some sheets that will work for backings. I saw a lot of Men's shirts that would work great for those that make quilts from shirts. Would cost less than the regular Goodwills...It is in Northern St Louis County. Off of 370 and across from Mills outlet Mall.

Hi Bette, There is also a Goodwill Outlet in downtown St. Louis by the Ikea store. I go there about once a month and last month I picked up about 30-35 quilting magazines, some from July of this year, all for $1.15. Books are .15 cents an inch so I did quite well. I also pick up vintage Cannon sheets for backs too. Always wear gloves as there is glass in the tables, I cut myself twice there on the fingers. I have been to Goodwill Outlets in Portland, Oregon, San Antonio,TX and two other cities which escape my mind. We bought a lovely Singer 427 for $5 to give away to charity also.
